Who can take the ATV Rider Course?

All who are interested in ATV's

Should be used only by	ATV's with Model Size
Age 6 and Older	Less than 70cc
Age 12 and Older	70cc and up to and included 90cc
Age 16 and Older	Greater than 90cc

What you will learn with the ATV Rider course?

Starting procedures
Posture
Turning Basics
Quick stops and swerving
TCLOC
BONEC
SIPDE
Riding over terrain and obstacles
Course can be modified to fit specific needs and organisations

The ATV Rider's course is a 5-1/2 to 7 hours training program. The curriculum, which is based on field-tested techniques, provides a fun and orderly way to learn proper ATV operation. The rider learns about controls, reading terrain, turning and climbing hills.

A seperate ATV Rider's course is also available for children under the age of 14 whose parents specifically permit them to ride ATVs. The vehicle must be the proper size for the child as per ATV industry safety standards.

Outdoor Safety Training has certified individuals from emergency services, search and rescue, police officers, trappers and children ages 8 yrs and older.
